Key Components of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training:
1. Asana Practice (Physical Postures)
Techniques and Alignment: Detailed instruction on how to perform various asanas (yoga poses) correctly. This involves understanding body alignment, posture modification, and injury prevention.
Sequencing: Learning how to create a balanced sequence that incorporates strength, flexibility, and relaxation.
Hands-on Adjustments: Learning how to offer adjustments to students in a safe and effective manner.
2. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
Breathing Practices: Techniques such as Ujjayi, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), and Kapalbhati, which help regulate the energy flow within the body.

5. Yoga Philosophy
The Yoga Sutras: Study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, an ancient text that outlines the philosophy and ethics of yoga.
The Bhagavad Gita: Learning about the teachings of this sacred text, which provides guidance on life, duty, and spirituality.
Ethics and Lifestyle: Learning the ethical guidelines of yoga such as Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (truthfulness), and Brahmacharya (moderation)..
7. Practice Teaching
Hands-on Teaching: Throughout the course, students are encouraged to practice teach, leading portions of the class, giving instructions, and learning from feedback.
Developing Your Own Teaching Style: Finding your unique voice as a teacher and becoming confident in leading classes.
Duration and Format:
Duration: 200 hours.
Format: Weekend Intensive
Saturdays and Sundays - January 11th - April 27th

Meet Dom
After over a decade in construction, namely concrete work, Domenic was amazed to find the meditative benefits gained through the sacred science of Yoga. Once it had begun healing his internal struggles he dropped everything to dedicate his life to the practice. Since then he has become an E-RYT500 and attempts to reinforce the philosophical and psychological lessons behind the physical movements. Ranging from the restorative and meditative practices to the strength inducing powerful flows, Domenic caters to each individual in the class to ensure a structurally sound and safe practice. He Loves yoga and hopes to share his passion for the practice with as many people as possible, along with all its amazing benefits.
